2019 User Protocol - Discord Server Rules
All new members must read these rules and agree to follow them. Failure to follow them will result in a warning/quarantine/kick/ban depending on the situation and severity. This section applies to all members, VC Outsiders and otherwise.
1) Respect others. Do not make personal attacks on other people, except in a joking manner, if they allow it.
If you are asked by them to stop, then do so. If you are attacked, inform a staff member instead of attacking the other person back personally. If you attack and add to the drama, you will also be held accountable.
- No discriminating against or attacking people for sexual orientation/race/gender/gender identity/mental illness/etc.
- Do not harass people, sexually or otherwise.
- Do not threaten people, dox people, falsely report people, slander, or attack members outside the server.
- Do not try to harass someone or break other rules through private messages.
2) Respect the staff. The word of The Administrator is final, and so is that of the staff, unless suspended by higher staff or The Administrator.
Arguing with staff on staff matters, short of light debate unless they tell you to stop, or insulting them when things don't go your way is not allowed. If you have a genuine problem with a staff member, politely take it up with them or a higher staff member, but if the outcome isn't the one you desired, accept it, Instead of complaining about perceived abuse or such.
3) No spamming. This consists of sending more than 3 of the exact same message or images in a row, or quickly posting some nonsense or non-similar images with the stated intent to spam, mass-posting(4+) images or videos in discussion channels outside of proper context, or after being asked to stop.
- No advertising other discord servers or personal sites without administrator approval.
- No posting misleading copypastas.
- No posting single letter posts in successions.
4) No NSFW images or videos. (gore, shock images, porn, nudity, suggestive or sexual images, fetish material, etc )
5) No evangelizing or trying to shove your beliefs down other peoples throats.
6) No excessive trolling.
7) No alternative accounts for any reason.
8) If you are banned on our discord server you will be banned here and vice versa.
9) No unnecessary drama. Take it to DMs.
10) No roleplaying.
11) Don't ask for staff. If you are considered for a promotion, you will be approached with one.
12) Don't do anything illegal by U.S Law or against the Proboards ToS.
13) Use common sense. Just because something isn't listed here doesn't mean it's allowed, though we have tried to cover all main issues. Use your head before doing something , and don't try to get around obvious things by saying it wasn't mentioned in the rules. The Administrator has full discretion over wether or not you are banned/kicked/muted.
